Formerly from Norman’s Cove, NL, Blake Maxwell sought out the best opportunities possible to hone his craft. In 2007, the man now known as “The Thoroughbred” did just that, when he achieved successful training at the hands of Lance Storm’s Wrestling Academy. Over the span of his career, Blake Maxwell has put his skills and training to good use, with a decorated resume to prove it. Blake Maxwell is the very first person to hold every single championship in New Evolution Wrestling, having captured the NEW Tag Team Championships, as well as capturing the NEW Heavyweight and Interprovincial Championships simultaneously. Blake Maxwell has also achieved other accolades, becoming the 2018 NEW Republic Rumble winner, and being awarded NEW’s Golden Ticket for that year. He is also a former CEW Newfoundland Heritage Champion.
